Electric vehicles are a key component in the fight against climate change, however, range anxiety continues to be a major roadblock to widespread adoption. Compared to gas-powered vehicles, the amount of time it takes to refuel or recharge a vehicle is significantly longer, and there are currently much fewer battery charging stations than gas stations. 

The advancement and proliferation of EV chargers and charging stations is critical if EV’s are to fully replace fossil fuel-powered vehicles.  As the industry has developed, chargers and charging stations have stratified into several categories based on power levels and charging speed. While no single category is a perfect solution, they can be strategically applied based on cost, locations, power, and charge time.
